Psalmopoeus irminia / suntiger spiderling

Psalmopoeus irminia, commonly known as the Suntiger tarantula, is a striking species native to Venezuela renowned for its vibrant coloration and active, arboreal lifestyle. It features a dark, metallic blue or greenish carapace with orange or yellow markings resembling tiger stripes, making it a popular choice among tarantula enthusiasts. Known for its agility and keen eyesight, P. irminia is typically kept in tall, well-ventilated enclosures that mimic its natural rainforest habitat, and it requires a diet of insects such as crickets and roaches. Due to its active nature and striking appearance, not recommended for handling as can be fast and aggressive.
